Algebra: I gave you a worksheet in class. Recommended that you do at least 4 from the first section, 1 or both of the vertical motion, and at least 2 graphs. Here are the answers:

For 13 - 18, I will give the vertex first, and then the x-intercepts. You need to be able to also construct the actual graph.
13. Vertex: (-1, -4); Intercepts: x = -3, x = 1
14. V: (2.5, -9.25); I: x = 5.54 and x = -0.54
15. V: (0.75, -6.125); I: x = -1 and x = 2.5
16. V: (-0.5, 2.25); I: x = -2 and x = 1
17. V: (-2, 3); I: No x-intercepts.
18. V: (-4, -8); I: x = 1.66 and x = -9.66
